Metereol (pronounced material) is an experimental typographic weather visualizer. Built with P5.js, Metereol uses real-time weather data to create an animated typographic expression of how the weather feels outside.
Stephen Kistner is an identity & motion graphic designer interested in the intersection of design and digitally generative processes. Metereol was designed & developed under
the direction of Kiel Mutschelknaus.
Metereol is constantly being updated. It currently works best on desktop platforms and in Google Chrome. Mobile support is coming soon.
